Environmental Performance Top of Page

  • The Plainsboro Campus applies a variety of structural and managerial approaches for best stormwater management practices. A majority of the stormwater on the Campus is managed in a stormwater detention basin. Additionally, previously mowed areas around the Campus are becoming fallow fields to reduce stormwater runoff and increase groundwater infiltration. Managerial efforts to reduce stormwater impacts include developing water use reduction plans that will ultimately reduce stormwater discharge and holding household hazardous waste days where employees can bring in their household hazardous wastes for disposal. For additional stormwater information, see our brochure (1.67 MB PDF).
  • Environment, health & safety (EHS) and sustainability programs for Plainsboro are managed in concert with the Lawrenceville operations. Descriptions of these activities are available on the Lawrenceville facility page.
